Membership Committee Update

Greetings from the Membership Committee!  Do you know any Directors who haven’t yet joined AUCCCD but are curious?  We are pleased to announce two new programs for potential new members.  

The first is a special discount for Directors at community colleges or Minority Serving Institutions, which include HBCU’s, Predominantly Black Institutions, Tribal Colleges, Hispanic Serving Institutions, Native American serving Institutions, and API Serving Institutions.  We are eager to continue to diversify our membership and want to specifically reach out to directors at these institutions.  Directors at these institutions are eligible for a 50% discount if their institution is a first-time member of AUCCCD or hasn’t been a member for the past 3 years.  Interested directors can use the discount code Join2024 when applying.

 The second program we are piloting is a Buddy Pass option for the annual conference.  The Buddy Pass is provided to a friend or colleague of an AUCCCD member to attend the conference without needing to first pay to join AUCCCD as a member.  Requirements are that their institution has never been a member, they have not attended the conference, they are otherwise qualified for membership, and that this can only be used once.  The Buddy Pass can be used to register for the conference on or after July 1, and membership to AUCCCD through December 31 is included (including listserv and other benefits) as a part of this program. A Director who is not yet an AUCCCD member and doesn't know anyone already in AUCCCD could still use the buddy pass if they meet the requirements. Current members who invite a Buddy to join through this program will be included in a special prize drawing at the conference to incentivize participation.  In January, the buddy can opt to join for the remainder of the membership year for $200.  Share the code Buddy2024 for them to join!
