AUCCCD PRESS RELEASE: Mitchell Distinguished Professional Contribution

The Association of University and College Counseling Center (AUCCCD) is the largest organization of campus mental health leaders in the world.

AUCCCD is pleased to announce the Senior Director and Student Wellness Director of the Counseling Services at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York and the former president of the AUCCCD has been awarded the 2023 American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Professional Contributions to Institutional Practice. In association with the award, Mitchell was invited to submit a peer reviewed manuscript to the distinguished American Psychologist. The just published article is published as part of the journal’s annual Awards Issue and can be viewed here.
